Lamp setup.trubble with step 8 (chrooted dns)

when I type the command
ln -s ../../ chroot
I get the message ('chroot' is not a directory)

 

I quit

I decided to install a diffrent OS. I was having other issues besides this.There was a pice of hardware it was sending an error on. I am installing contOS.
