    [SOLVED] Laptop hotkeys on Fedora

Dear all, this is my first post.

I tried to make my ASUS M6800Ne hotkeys for volume control (Fn+F10, etc.) work on Fedora 9. I've tried Oliver Meyer's tutorial on HowtoForge but I can't make it to work. Does anyone got it??
BTW I think there is a mistake in that tutorial: /etc/acpi/events/hotkeys.conf refers to /etc/acpi/actions/hotkeys.sh file but then the tutorial tells to create the hotkeys.sh script in /etc/acpi/events. Of course I tried this way but it doesn't seem to work either.

    Thank you for your help,

    w.

I wouldn't delete it - it might help someone else in the future. :)
