    Hi All,
I am new to ISP Config so apologies if I have missed something while searching Google to try and solve my issue.
I have setup a Test Server using ISP Config and have setup a test site test1.example.com. I have then tried to enable SSL and LetsEncrypt for that site. However the change shows as pending in the ISPConfig web interface. Once the 1 indicating the pending change clears the SSL and Lets Encrypt tick boxes are cleared again. I am trying to figure out what is going on here and why this is not working. I have looked in the logs located in /var/log/ispconfig/ but can't find anything in the logs to say why it is failing.
I followed the following guide on using the Automated Installer to install.
Perfect Server Automated ISPConfig 3 Installation on Debian 10 - 11 and Ubuntu 20.04 (howtoforge.com)
I am using Debian 11, in a few posts I have seen mention of certbot now certbot doesn't seam to be installed on Debian 11 however acme.sh is should this make a difference?
    Any pointers would be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Tom

If you followed that guide without having certbot install in advance, the result is your serving will be using acme.sh and not certbot. Certbot need to be installed using snap in advance before ISPConfig installation if you wish it to be used instead.

For fixing your problem(s), check the famous LE FAQ for ISPConfig servers: https://www.howtoforge.com/community/threads/lets-encrypt-error-faq.74179/
