I understand that Lets Encrypt has chosen not to provide *. names, at least at present. However they do provide for alternate names. I note www is shown as an alternate in the cert gotten through 3.1b1. Is there a way to add additional alternate names to the cert - either by defining "sub domains for websites" or some other means as perhaps the additional name does not carry a web site?
You can add alternate names by adding them as sub domains to the website were the ssl cert belongs to.
I tried untick/tick: active + ssl + letsencrypt But live cert date stamp remains unchanged. Please how do I trigger the new cert update?
