    hi,
just a quick question, dose ispconfig support using Let's Encrypt wildcard fearture for subdomains, and if so, is it auto enabled if i click the enable Let's Encrypt button for the subdomain site while the main domain is active?

Wildcard certs from LE are not supported yet as LE is not able to verify them with the web root method and DNS auth is not implemented yet.

do dose that mean that currently ispconfig can only use LE for the main root domain and to have a cert for subdomain i would have to use an alternative?

No. You can use subdomains and they get added automatically to the LE cert.
