I got a new system and selected the Let's Encrypt button on a site, and my system is no longer working.
I have a VPS and the hostname was created by my hosting provider and it is not an accessible domain (vs-username-syrahost.com). After I restarted my server, apache2 failed to start because the 000-ispconfig.vhost file has a SSL Configuration for my hostname and it failed it's configtest, and failed to start the service.

What's the best way to get my system back up (just delete the SSL Configuration section)?
Should I change my hostname to something like domain.tld (my domain) or make it a subdomain, like vps.domain.tld?

ps, I currently only have one domain but plan on getting more in the future.

Comment out the SSL config section, restart apache and then request a new SSL cert for the hostname.

The hostname should be a subdomain.
