This morning between 6:45AM and 7:05AM new mail started seeing in the subject line... ***UNCHECKED*** <subject> Not sure what updated around that time but something on my system got fubared. Any ideas what to look for? The files are there and their permissions are like the other database files in the directory. That file is a link though to /usr/local/malware/sigs so not sure what is causing the main issue but something definitely changed around 7:00AM this morning.
The path /usr/local is an indication that there are clamav rules involved that had been installed manually. If you manually installed additional clamav rules, then check that they are not broken and try to restart clamav and then check the mail log for clamav errors.
