Hi I was asked a question today and i am wondering how to answer it? Can Liferay portal be hosted on a suse 11.1 web server made using the perfect server by Till and if so how do one goes about it? Can there be a particular advertisement system running on the server in such a way that which ever site is hosted on it advert can be run on all those sites? Can u help me answer this questions. Tx
No it wouldn't work. For Liferay you need Java on you server, but yes it would work on Suse. Here the Requirements under deployment: http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/products/portal/techspecs
