Lighttpd 404 - Not Found

Please, after install lighttpd
lighttpd not work !
I see, 404 - Not Found in my links
Why ?
What I do ?

centOS + cPanel

The logs should be somewhere in the /var/log directory.

Is there an index file (e.g. index.html) in /var/www/html?
