Does anyone know how to limit the amount of text, e.g. 50 characters, etc. that a user is allowed to copy and paste?

On a Linux desktop, on a web site, or where?

Sorry about that. What I meant was is it possible to limit the copy/paste buffer size to xx number of characters on a Linux desktop. Along the lines of allowing users access to say copy and paste a website address but not something like a whole paragraph or document.

Basically, boils down to security lockdown so that users cannot copy/paste large amounts of text from say internal corporate documents but can do things like copy/paste webpage addresses, email addresses, etc.

    Does that make more sense?

To be honest, I'm not sure how this can be achieved...

    Falko,

That's cool. I have looked high and low but to no avail also.

    Thanks for the help!
