    Hi
I did a quick search on google, but found nothing.
Is there a limit in sending emails from the ispconfig box? If a user starts spamming how can I limit the amount of email that is being sent?
Can I set a limit to 100 emails / hour for ex.?
    I'm using ISPConfig 2.2.29.

    Thanks,
    Deni

There is no such limit available in postfix as far as I know.

So how can I know/stop a user from sending spam from his account?

Limiting the sending rate is no appropriate method to prevent spam.

First, you should make sure that the spam is really sent by this account. In most cases the spam is sent with a false sender address, so that it appers that spam is sent from address xyz but it reality it is sent by a different server! If a account is really sending spam and you verified that in the mail log, then you should close the account.

Additionally, you can reconfigure your server to scan outgoing emails for spam too.
