    Hello everyone,
As the spam fight is getting more and more serious I was wondering if it was possible to setup maximum amount of emails an account (mailbox or whole client) can send per hour (or per day).
The idea is - if some account gets compromised I want to contain it at a few hundred emails not 500 thousand emails (as server is running out of bandwidth and the server IP is blacklisted everywhere).

    Any input is appreciated.
    Thank you!

This can be achieved e.g. by integrating policyd-new (cluebringer) into the postfix setup. There are probably other software solutions as well. Basically you can use any policy software that is able to do that which integrates into postfix.

I'm sorry, I don't have a tutorial available on that topic.
