I would like to setup LVS for MYSQL HA cluster using Amazon machine image in Amazon Elastic cloud. Please guide me if i am wrong. From HOW TO i understand that the servers participating in the LVS setup needs to be in same subnet.
In amazon, i have probablity of getting machines with different subnet. So, does anybody have such kind of LVS setup with differing subnets and what will be the virtual IP address to choose in such kind of scenario.

The problem is the virtual IP address. In your own local network there's no problem creating virtual IP addresses because you control the network, but it's a problem with public IP addresses. But maybe you can create a LAN over the internet with VPN?
