I use Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS ISPConfig 3.2.12p1 and I use it as a mail server for several domains (domain1.tld, domain2.tld etc.). I would like to add a domain "antoherdomain.tld" to it, which actually has mail on Google Workspace (properly configured) and use only one mail account on ISPConfig and only for sending (MX should stay on Google). The problem I can't solve is local mail delivery. When I add the domain anotherdomain.tld to the "Mail" section of ISPConfig, messages sent from domains that actually have MX on ISPConfig to existing mail accounts on anotherdomain.tld (which are on Google Workspace) end with an error (something like "User unknown in virtual mailbox table") . I tried mail relay and routing settings, but without success. On the older version of ISPConfig I had it set, and now I can't How to solve this?
You need to check the box for "deactivate local delivery" in the mail account settings in the ISPConfig Panel.
Do I understand correctly that I have to check the "deactivate local delivery" option in every mailbox in the domain? If so, is there a way to do it globally?
Just test it with one, but i assume it is the correct setting. I don't think there is an option to do this globally.
