Emails are stored in subfolders of /ver/vmail/

Check the /var/log/mail.log to find out why you can not send or receive email.

    Hi Till,
    thanks for your answer.
maybe if i could ask 2 more questions:
1.i can not find my emails even i am in the users mail dir.
    Code:
    root@server1:~# ls /var/vmail/rooms-tenerife.com/info/Maildir/
    cur dovecot-uidvalidity dovecot.index.cache new tmp
    dovecot-uidlist dovecot-uidvalidity.5c9faaad dovecot.index.log subscriptions

2.when i send an email from me.com account i see in the logs of the server who receives the email this:
    Code:
    May 23 19:13:02 server1 postfix/smtps/smtpd[27195]: connect from st43p00im-ztbu10063701.me.com[17.58.63.178]

so i assume that there was a connect from me.com mailserver. but i dont see the email itself.
thanks again for being so kind to help me
