Log file report, many 404

    i get many 404 errors in my log every day, i cant found it..
    What is happening?

    404 means "file not found"
    maybe you get a domain-name someone else has been used.
    maybe there are "old" bookmarks to the old site and your new site doesn't have these pages?

    I know 404 means "file not found"
    i search in the httpd access log, i cant found any request to .cfm files

    My log output:

    Detail Level of Output: 0

    -

    Where i can change Detail Level of Output: 0 ??

    I think it's some kind of bot that searches for vulnerabilities in web sites. I know this from my web sites, too... :(


    I think you can change it in /etc/logwatch/conf/logwatch.conf. Also take a look at
    Code:
    man logwatch
