I have observed that Log files generated for access log or error log in var/log/ispconfig/http in some cases becomes date.access.log.gz and in some case it remains without gz. similarly error.log files becomes error1.log, error2.log. what rule it follows for initiating a new log file i.e. period or size of the file as at times I noticed that an error log file becomes really very big running in to 200-300mb and takes too long to open.
