Log problem

I using Postfix, Dovecot, Mysql and Squirrelmail on Centos 5.1

[root@home postfix]# tail -f /var/log/maillog

[root@home postfix]#cat /etc/postfix/main.cf

Any help would be great i am a newbie to linux .

set your socket correctly in /etc/dovecot.conf
