I'm running CentOS 4.6 if that makes a difference. I just got threw installing ISPConfig 2.2.19, and after the installation was complete it says that you can log into the ISPConfig interface under http://www.domainNameHere.com:81. I was guessing that meant that I could log into the interface from a different computer? I bought the domain name for sure, I've double checked. When I go to http://www.domainNameHere.com:81, the connection just times out. Nothing happens. Could someone help me with this please?
Please make sure that the domain name points to your server IP with a DNS A-Record. In case that your server is behind a router, make sure that you forwarded port 81 to the server and that your firewall is not blcking port 81.
