Hi, At this moment we have to set-up the client to log in using the given username and password were the username being with webxx_whoever (using default settings) While logging in using the Ubimiau webmail we log in with the mail [email protected]. Is there an way to change to make the login from the outlook clinet to be [email protected] instead of the linux passd file account name?
Ah I see some other related posts. I have seen this solution were MySQL / LDAP db's was used, but pointing out how does Ubimiau webmail do it - is there not some routines that can be used? BTW the other tread is http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5090
Uebimiau is patched to read the username from the mysql database before authenticating. You can not authenticate with courier or postfix against the ISPConfig database vecause the ISPConfig DB does not contain any passwords.
