Login to outlook using full email address

I want to be able to login to my email using the full email address as the username. I can do this in webmail, but not in Outlook or external applications. I have postfix, dovecot, and saslauth. I would like to use the virtusertable created by ispconfig as an alias table since it is updated by ispconfig. I noticed virtual_alias_maps, alias_maps, and virtual_maps in postfix, but how do I set it up in dovecot since dovecot is the fetchmail application.
