Hi, I'm having a strange problem with my logrotation, and I'm not sure if its a centos problem or ispconfig. When my log's rotate every week, for example message becomes messages.1 the system keep writes to messages.1 and not messages. I run cent os on lots of other systems but dont have any problems like this. The logrotate config is the default apart from the number of weeks to keep. I'mg running centos i386 4.3 with the latest isp config. Have any one come across this problem before? Thanks Keith.
ISPConfig does not interact with logrotate or the messages log at all, so I guess your problem is not related to ISPConfig.
