Having followed the excellent article "Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier, MySQL And SquirrelMail (Fedora 12 x86_64)" I can now send and receive Email's using the domain defined in the "domains" MySQL table. This is my first attempt to setup a Linux Mail Server and am also quite new to Linux itself so don't know my way round the various Linux file systems very well. I would like to receive Email's for a second domain and forward these to the already defined working domain. Is this the correct procedure..... Add the new domain to the "domains" table. Create entries in the "forwardings" table that contain Email addresses for the new domain as source and point them to an existing Email address in the existing, working, domain. Do I need to update any other file within PostFix or the operating system? Thanks in advance Mark
Correct. To forward all emails for the second domain, you can use @seconddomain.com as the source and @firstdomain.com as the destination.
Thankyou for taking the time to answer. Just working out another issue, so might be back with another question! Regards Mark
