It appears that my ispconfig 1.0.1.6 has been hacked.

I am getting a massive amount of vlogger errors like this:

    piped log program ' /usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/vlogger -s access.log -t "%Y%m%d-access.log" -d "/etc/vlogger-dbi.conf" /var/log/ispconfig/httpd' failed unexpectedly
DBI connect('database=dbispconfig;host=localhost:3306','ispconfig',...) failed: Too many connections at /usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/vlogger line 255
DBI Error: at /usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/vlogger line 255.
    piped log program ' /usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/vlogger -s access.log -t "%Y%m%d-access.log" -d "/etc/vlogger-dbi.conf" /var/log/ispconfig/httpd' failed unexpectedly
DBI connect('database=dbispconfig;host=localhost:3306','ispconfig',...) failed: Too many connections at /usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/vlogger line 507
    DBI Error: at /usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/vlogger line 507, <STDIN> line 2646.

Can someone explain to me how I can fix this? It is over whelming the server making it slow down and eventually run out of memory and crash.

Running ispconfig 1.0.1.6 on a CentOS 5.4 box.

    vlogger question

Once apache starts, does vlogger need to be executed again?

I dont think that you have been hacked. looks more like a configuration issue. Check that the mysql login details in /etc/vlogger-dbi.conf are correct. This happens e.g. when you tried to change the mysql password for the ispconfig user manually.
