    I'm building together a new server using Centos 5 64bit O/S flavor.

The hardware I'm using is the following:

Fujitsu MBA3300RC 300GB 15000 RPM Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Hard Drive
    3x Kingston 4GB DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) ECC Fully Buffered Dual Channel Server Memory Model KVR667D2D8F5K2/4G
    Dual INTEL XEON 2 E5405 2.0GHZ 1333MHZ 12MB QUAD CORE CACHE L771 CPU
    SUPERMICRO X7DVL‐I

I found this LSI SAS controller:
    http://www.parallels.com/products/virtuozzo/hcl/other/

    LSI LSI00177 SAS controller

Would this LSI work fine with my motherboard and the Fujitsu SAS drive? Are they compatible?
