    Hi

I am new to LVM setup on CentOS. Also, I am trying xen virtualization on CentOS5.1 for the first time.

Seems to me like, if I set up a VM image in xen on a LVM of its own, I can take a snapshot of the LVM very fast compared to scp or dd, minimizing downtime. The issue is my hd space. If I leave enough room on the hd for backup snapshot, I have to reduce the actual disk usage on VM. I do have a NAS setup on the local network that has lots of room. Is there a way I can use that to take my snapshots on directly?

    Thanks.
