    Hello

I have an old server running debian lenny with old php etc, with a very old legacy joomla site running.

I'm trying to depreciate this old server and move it to a new server running debian wheezy with up to date packages.

When I server this old site from the new server much of the content of the pages are missing. If log into the control panel of the site it displays a warning message regarding magic quotes and i should probably turn them on.

Is there a way to turn these on for just this one site?

It maybe it's asking me to turn them off actually...

If so how do i do it please.

Are there any advantages/disadvantages regarding this?

    Thanks
    David

You can use the custom php.ini settings in the "options" tab of each website.
This can only be done as admin.

magic quotes DO NO LONGER exist in php 5.4.
