Fixed Fixed Multiserversystem with separte mailserver local mailboxes and some domains forwarded to other mail system. Running fine since years ISPconfig 3.2.8p2. did nothing change at least since sunday debian 10 update. Problem: Since about 5:30pm mails which should be forwarded to next mail server (Postfix) stop comming in for all 3 forwarded domains. tests showed the mail is rejected with " Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table" as mail to this user and all other to the same domain should be forwarded to next mail server it has no mailbox. Testet all recipients in the remote system always the same error. did check everything relevant under mail in ISPconfig. dir restart postfix, did restart server found "postfix/trivial-rewrite[2764]: warning: do not list domain "remotedomain" in BOTH virtual_mailbox_domains and relay_domains" in mail.log but this warning is seen when everything still worked fine, can not find a reason in Mail configuration. first seen november 29 some minutes before 12:00,log starts november27. warning seen for all domains that are forwarded. did not change configuration since weeks. I have a mail notification send to a remote user if the is a ssh login, these mails go through, similar mails from other servers in that multiserver system does not. Need help urgent Thanks Rainer
Fixed, double check mail configuration, found the domains to forward are listed as active und EMAIL Domain, set them to inactive and everthing worked. I am shure I did not touch this since weeks. Thanks Rainer
