Hi folks. I have a client who wants all the mail forwarded to their gmail account. So, I go into mail forwarding Put their address on the server in there along with their gmail address, click on save and... "There is already a mailbox with this email address" gets displayed. Does anyone know what's broken? Thanks Simon.
If that person already has a mailbox on your server, then you cannot setup forwarding. You have to either delete the mailbox from your server (and all the emails), then setup the forwarder...OR in the mailbox settings for the account, you can send a copy of the email to their gmail. By doing the latter, they will also have their emails on your server still.
