    Hi.

I'm trying to get my server configured width ISPConfig the way I most like.

    I'm planning managing many domains.
I'd like to be able to login to each email accounts from a domain "example.com" just with the user name. Let's say, "[email protected]" will log in at the domain "example.com", with user name "user", no need for "@example.com" or "web_1user".

Now, I understand that when ISPConfig creates a email user, it also creates a system user, so that's why there is a prefix in the defoult configuration (so you can have a user "user" in diferent domains).

I'd like to know if there is any way to change this to work like I said before.

I first removed the prefix, but then I realized that this won't work for long, as users might duplicate across domains.

I hope I made myself clear, if not, please let me know and I'll explain better what I mean.

Thanks for such great projects, howtoforge.com and ispconfig...!!!

No, this doesn't work, unless you rewrite your email client.
