    Hi.
I followed http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual_postfix_mysql_quota_courier and successulyy created my mail server.

I was wondering whether there was an option to monitor the usage of the server by each account and to log the number of times a user logs on to send a message, or the number of times a message is sent through my SMTP. And if so - is it possible to monitor the message size as well.

    Thanks.

    Thanks falko.
    That's excellent.

I was also wondering about PER USER smtp monitoring.
Basically I want to know how many emails each of my mail users is sending, and if possible - the size of each mail...

Is there anything out there that can do that?

I think pflogsumm is close to what you're looking for. Otherwise you'd have to parse the mail log with a script yourself.
