I tried to send mail from the account I made and it did not go through. When I got home latter I checked the mail in squirrlemail and all kinds of returns were in the inbox. Here is a snip of what I think is wrong. I do not know were to do to fix it. Help!!:)

Is it something I did not setup with no-ip dot com ? Has anyone told you people here that you are doing a good job?

I entered for MX records on the noip (mail.mysite.com). Is that corect? there is like 4 or 5 entrys on there. Like mydomain.com, www.mydomain.com, mail.mydomain.com, ftp.mydomain.com. The only one I entered the MX records entry on was on the mydomain.com.

As you use noip.com in your setup, is your external IP dynamic? In this case Hotmail will refuse your emails.

    mail trouble

This thing is going crazy. It tells me it is looping and keeps sending files to the mail. I had to shut down the server. It had like 94 mail returns. How can I stop this?

Please post the exact messages that you get in your mail log. We are not able to help you if you do not post exact error descriptions.

If I get a static IP will it fix the mail problems? I think I will need to get one. I will still be able to use the noip for the DNS right? thanks for the help.

    Please add the line:

    localhost.localdomain.mysite.com

at the end of the file

    /etc/postfix/local-host-names

    and restart postfix.
