    Hi all,

    I have set up postfix with a my sql database and every thing works well with the postfix lda. But when I switch to maildrop I get the following log message:

    Jul 24 11:47:40 alg-network postfix/cleanup[31708]: 0FD6614A1A8:message-id=<[email protected]>
    Jul 24 11:47:40 alg-network postfix/qmgr[27164]: 0FD6614A1A8: from=<>, size=286,nrcpt=1 (queue active)
    Jul 24 11:47:40 alg-network postfix/pipe[31711]: 0FD6614A1A8: to=<[email protected]>, relay=maildrop, delay=0, status=bounced (user unknown. Command output: Invalid user specified. )
    Jul 24 11:47:40 alg-network postfix/qmgr[27164]: 0FD6614A1A8: removed

    every thing seems like maildrop is not looking to the database

    my /etc/courier/authdaemonrc
    Code:
    authmodulelist="authmysql"
    authmodulelistorig="authmysql"
    daemons=5
    version=""
    authdaemonvar=/var/run/courier/authdaemon

    my /etc/courier/authmysqlrc
    Code:
    MYSQL_SERVER localhost
    MYSQL_SOCKET /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
    MYSQL_USERNAME dbusername
    MYSQL_PASSWORD dbpass
    MYSQL_DATABASE mail
    MYSQL_USER_TABLE email
    MYSQL_LOGIN_FIELD username
    MYSQL_CLEAR_PWFIELD userpassword
    MYSQL_UID_FIELD uid
    MYSQL_GID_FIELD gid
    MYSQL_MAILDIR_FIELD virtual_mailbox

    I am suspecting that authmysqlrc is not parsed! I tried to introduce some errors to see if some thing is logged in the syslog file but nothing hapends! However authdeamon is effectively parsed in the /etc/courier folder
    I tryed to activate the maildrop log but I didn't findout how!

    one more information, here are the packages I installed:
    ii courier-authda 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - Authentication daemon
    ii courier-authmy 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - MySQL authentication
    ii courier-base 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - Base system
    ii courier-maildr 0.47-4sarge5 Courier Mail Server - Mail delivery agent

    does any one know how to activate the maildrop log?
    does any one know where authmysqlrc is supposed to be?

    one more element,
    I tried with (authmodulelist="authuserdb") and it works! so it seems like it is directly related to the authdaemonrc!
    any idea? or maybe a link to a potential solution?

    thaks for your help
