    Hi Forumers,

i want to install mailman on a server already running ISPconfig. I found that link http://howtoforge.com/set-up-mailman-with-debian-and-ispconfig describing how to install mailman before ISPconfig and then its features should appear in the e mail tab under managemen, server. I have installed mailman and then reinstalled ISPconfig but i didnt get asked anything about mailman during the installation, and there are no mailman features under the above mentioned menu...

how can it be done to have mailman on already installed ispconfig system

    Thanks

The mailman integration actually only work with the development branch, so the release that are > 2.3.3. So for testing purpose only.

thats not a very good news...
so here comes the next question, can i manually install mailman in a virtual host under ISPconfig, will it work that way?
and if not can you suggest some other mailing list software that will work with ispconfig...

    Regards

Yes you can install Mailman manually, but it's not easy, you have to take care to not interfere with existing mailboxes or forwards.

I wrote the Mailman part because I did not find something that fit my needs, but maybe you will find something, for you.
