I've been using this postfix+MySQL+... setup on my linux box for years now - it is awesome (thanks Falco!)

However I want to setup mailman mailing lists and can't figure out what to do instead of the /etc/aliases setup the install tells me to do. I don't believe /etc/aliases is used with this virtual setup and the aliases the install creates involve piping into the mailman command.

I can't see how to put pipe commands into any of the MySQL tables nor does it seem like that is probably what I want.

    How can I setup mailman?

D'oh! Thanks. I followed that and got it working. Great tutorial as usual.

I have one issue I just discovered, when I go to http://lists.myhost.com/admin/newlist and click on "Go to list archives" I get a Forbidden page with "You don't have permission to access /pipermail/newlist/ on this server."

Any clues as to how I fix that? Permissions problems? Missing directory?

    Thanks!
