In my old postfix configuration I could route *@domain.de to *@domain.net via the postfix command recipient_canonical_maps. I can't find an similar configuration in ISPconfig. is it possible or to I have to to do it manualy via main.cf Thanks Rainer
Additional question First thank you for quick response So under domain alias it have source domain.de and destination domain.net Do I still hve to enter something at email routing and relay recipients Tanks Rainer
seems not to work Again may mailserver should recive mails for *@domain.de (MX of doamin.de) points to my mailserver. All mails should be routed to external domain.net with own MX pointing to another server. Renaming seems ok as in the log the domain ist now domain.net but I still get unknown user. telnet to domain.net 25 accepts message to the user. i.e. sendung mail via from my mailservers console to [email protected] it is accepted. Sending mails from i.e. gmx.com to [email protected] my amilserver log says [email protected] unknown user. Any further hint Thanks Rainer
Ok, thats something different. you did not mention that you want to forward email to a different mailserver. Forwarding mail to other servers is done with postfix transports, and that the email routing functon in ispconfig. 1) Add the domain to mail routing. 2) add the domain under relay recipienst like this: "@domain.tld" 3) ensure that the domain does not exist in the email domain list.
