mailserver fetchmail[4709]: Server CommonName mismatch: imap.example.com

    Good Day

    I am using ISPConfig to host the mail for multiple domains, when i use fetchmail to retrieve the mail i get the following entry in my maillog file


    mailserver fetchmail[4709]: Server CommonName mismatch: imap.example.com


    I have searched and it appears it has something to do with the SSL certificate, which I dont know to much about...

    What would the solution be??

    I recommend that you ignore this message, its nothing serious and everything will work. It just means that the SSL certificate on the server imap.example.com does not has imap.example.com in its common.
