Master dns machine crashed

I have 2 dns machines

master = ns1.xxx.yyy
slave = ns2.xxx.yyy

The master has crashed and I have reinstalled ispconfig.

Is there a way to transfer the dns information from slave to master.

Or do I have to re-enter it?

Yes, you must create the zones again.
