Now that I solved mi file backup problem, I ended up with a new one.
Following the instructions at http://www.howtoforge.com/mysql5_master_master_replication_debian_etch, I was able to get it to work great.

My question is how do I add more databases? I need this for a backup/mirror system for my server. I'll have several databases going that will all need to be backed up. I realize that this isn't the best system to use for a server failover, but I can't afford to get two more servers to set up a load balancer/failover system.

Thanks. I didn't find those when I searched.

I had already added the replicate-do-db and binlog-do-db to the my.cnf file but I couldn't find if I needed to do any more.
