hi, I want to change the max number of blacklist entries for a customer, but doing that in Client/Limits doesn't have any effect. Is there a global setting that overrides client specific changes? thanks, Stefan
No. But maybe you have assigned that customer to a reseller and you are hitting the limits of that reseller account.
Yes; if they have custom limits you will need to change the limit for that client individually; alternately, assign a limit template to the client and those limits will apply.
Well, thats what I try to do. I have set to custom limits and try to set the limits manually in the client's limit tab, but that does not work.
What makes me curious is, that the current limit is 15, but I don't find this number in any temlplate nor in the custom settings. So where does it come from?
any ideas? even if I set limits in a limit template and enable this limit template for the client, it still does not work. Is there a hidden global setting of 15 entries?!?
Sorry, in rereading this thread I see you already answered that. No idea at this point, I'll try to test that limit when I can, I suppose it's possible there is some bug affecting that and no-one has run in to it previously.
Just tested the latest code (dev version as of yesterday) and there is no problem here. I tested a client with Custom limits, and it respects exactly what you set for the limit. Maybe you have an outdated code version? (I don't remember any recent bugs along those lines, so maybe *very* outdated?)
update: seems that this limit is connected to roundcube. If I enter the adresses in ISPconfig's "Add Blacklist record", it works. any idea where the roundcube plugin stores its limit settings?
I have never dug into the rounding plugin code much, so have no idea. I would post a question to the author (in GitHub, iirc).
