Hi I have a large oscommerce site, when I use persistant connections the server reaches max_user_connections very quickly, i changed the line set-variable = max_user_connections = 3000 in /etc/mysql/my.cnf but still the same problem is there somewhere else I need to change the variable or is there another configuration factor which can be adding to this problem
