    Hi,

I have a new customer who was using cpanel (with maildir) and they have around 5 users using only webmail to read email.

I need to move these users to ispconfig along with all their email/folders. Are these the steps I need to do, and am I missing anything?

    - Create the users on ispconfig under the new site.
    - Copy the files from the cpanel maildir to the ispconfig maildir for the user.
    - Change the owner of the new copied files with chown -R

Is there anything else I need to do? Will the emails/folders appear in Roundcube automatically or do I need to do anything else?

    Thanks

If cpanel uses the same imap server, this should work flawlessly. If not, you will ahve to test if the two imap servers are storing the folder information in a way that it can be copied.

Thats more a issue of compatibility of the imap servers and not of ispconfig or roundcube.

Thanks for the quick response, I'll have to give it a try I guess.

I know it's not Ispconfig or Roundcube issue, I was just hoping that someone else who uses ispconfig may have done the same thing in the past and can let me know their experience. Thanks
