Is it possible to migrate a functioning ubuntu/ispconfig 3 single server to a ubuntu/ispconfig 3 multiple server? What are the correct steps to do this?
Thats not possible when tere are already sites in the multiserver setup as the website, client, user, etc. ID's in the two databases will collide.
The only way to do that is to make the multi server setup as Additions to the existing. So you could create a new web/db server for new sites. If you want to move existing sites form the single, you'd have to migrate them by backup, delete them, install new on 2nd server. If you have some bottleneck then you could consider moving other resources over to a 2nd server such as email and dns. hopefully I didn't confuse it more.
