I think this is bad, the mailbox is not really new, just migrated to a new server. And I just ran the migration tool, I have not yet updated IP-numbers and DNS settings, to the sent e-mails went to the old server.
Disabling the messages during migration would have been a good idea, indeed. I did not think before starting migration about this.
