Mirror setup

    Hi,

    Is there any guide or tips how to turn a single server setup (running for months) to a mirror ?

    I read bits and pieces about MySQL replication but am not sure what tables are really important, yet to dive into it.

    Also, read this warning by Tilll - http://bugtracker.ispconfig.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=1297 . Not sure if I can turn existing single server into 2 mirrored especially using ONLY SSL (encrypted) MySQL replications and not using root account.

    Any ideas?

    I think this will be problematic. You can make a new installation a mirror of an existing master, but I don't think it's possible to turn a master into a slave.
