    Hi all

I have been following the install and setup procedure to the letter after a couple fails. the most important missing i have found is the step between loading the Ubuntu server software the loading ispconfig and running the the setup instructions.

what is the best way to get the server on the air so i cane download the files i require to get the ispconfig up and running.

    eg: etc/network/interfaces/ and resolv.conf

the resolv.conf is the big headache as the file keeps deleting itself ????

    Many thanks

In ubntu, you set the nameserver not in /etc/resolv.conf anymore, instead they ar defined in /etc/network/interfaces file as part of the eth0 network configuration.
