I've been running into an issue enabling PHP on a brand new Ubuntu 9.10 VM I set up using the Perfect Server article. I've read several threads, mainly saying to make sure the folder was created by ispconfig, but nothing seems to be working. At this point I think it'd be quicker to just open the config files directly, but I don't want to mess anything up for future use of ispconfig. Is advisable to modify Apache config manually? Will ispconfig3 note and reflect changes made?
Never edit the config files manually, all your changes get removed automatically. If ispconfig is not writing your config files, then take a look at the system log in the monitor and post the error that you get there. Also check the jobqueue if there are jobs listed.
