Is anyone testing ntpsec's port using monit on Debian 12 aka bookworm?
    The following line fails
    Code:
if failed host localhost port 123 type udp protocol ntp3 for 2 times within 3 cycles then restart
while omitting protocol ntp3 seems to work, i.e.
    Code:
if failed host localhost port 123 type udp for 2 times within 3 cycles then restart
    Any ideas, comments or suggestions?

I've seen your post, I have no comments or suggestions on that topic as I don't use monit to do that plus my production systems are still Debian 11.

I don't monitor this, and my production systems are on Debian 11 as well. Maybe check with the Monit mailinglist?
