Do I need my monitor on my server ? can I take out the video card and just use my client to do everything? I mean with putty also with ispconfig in the browser.
You will need a monitor at the start to get all the stuff setup (install SSH and so), but when done, you can do everything with Putty. If your motherboard is okay with booting up without a video card you can even take that out. I'm not sure if that's a good thing to do, because you might need "real" access one day when your system does not boot anymore for some reason (recovery mode)
what is so I do have putty setup, however I do not know what so is. Can you please explain and let me know were to read on it and get the files to install if I do need to install ?
With "and so" I'm talking about all the other software. (like and so on....) Sorry for the confusion.
