i have a system running using this setup great how to thanks.
    http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-ubuntu-10.04-lucid-lynx-ispconfig-3

    question:

can i install this on a machine then remove the hd and install it on another machine with a different mb

this is my problem i have this setup running on this box

    Operating system Ubuntu Linux 10.04
    Ispconfig 3.0.3.3
    Webmin version 1.570
Kernel and CPU Linux 2.6.32-38-server on x86_64
    Processor information AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+, 2 cores
    Real memory 3.0 GB total

and i am having some troubles with the database so what i was thinking was i have an old computer if i were to build a new setup and transfer all the data from the old box to the newly built box then just swap the disk and be backup online with no issues.

    any input would be great
